New website; new blog, new tour, new CD

Paul O'Brien launches new website and European tourThanks for dropping by my new website. I do hope you're enjoying the changes, sampling some songs, and looking for more content. It's coming! I'm prepping right now for my upcoming Germany/Switzerland tour of Long May You Sing, so you'll forgive me I hope for my preoccupations. Still, there's much popping up around the site, and I'd like to encourage you to join the Mailing List for more news you'll enjoy.

Better yet, join the Paul O'Brien Fan Club by signing into this Blog or the Forum. We're going to pack some cool, exclusive stuff into member only pages you don't want to miss.

Check back in on the Tales on Tour posts when I'm in Germany for random scribbles between shows, and please do check out the 'With A Little Help From My Friends Project 2015' post in both Blog and Forum. I'm planning on doing something a bit extraordinary for my next album and I'd appreciate your enthusiasm if you don't mind. Stay tuned.

I think just fair to have discovered your music on the BBC radio Ulster Folk club session dedicated to storytelling because I think that it is thanks to this gift that I liked the song being aired "For My Mary" straight away. The lyrics are superb and the music is there to serve them. I like your musical universe to be so personal and poetical. I like the connections you make with your own family history and the history of Ireland and the way you establish connections between them. Thank you for understanding music and the music of words so well and being so inspired by Ireland. I'll be listening to more songs .... and hopefully be going to the shows ..... whenever you tour comes to France !
