School Workshops.

Inclusive music workshops for Primary, Middle, Senior and Young Adult Schools.

“The Workshop days with Paul are amongst my most valuable and inspiring experiences in my work as a music teacher.”

Michael Meyer, Gymnasium Erfstadt-Lechenich

Goals...

My goal is simply and always, to create an opportunity for children (and often staff), to experience themselves, and each other in a new and different way, through the instrument of music.

Making music together, is a way, by which I have the opportunities to allow the students as individuals, or as a group, to shine. This is where I see confidence and self esteem being positively affected, by the communication that happens between myself, and the students and between the students themselves. My aim is always, to nurture respect and positivity. Each workshop is unique, and I am able to be responsive to each set of students I meet because I am flexible. Some of the finest moments I have witnessed have come from surprises. If I had stuck to a plan, they would probably never have happened. When I am asked “what happens in your workshops?”, my reply is “I don’t know, because I haven’t met the children yet", by which I mean I am always looking for that unique moment.

"His joy in music is immediately contagious and reaches everyone without exception. He brings out the best in each child, strengthens their self confidence, and produces some unexpected and emotional solo performances by the children.”
